GCF Learn Free

GCF Learn Free is an excellent new site I found for educational resources.  This is a very innovative site that offers users over 750 online interactive lessons and over 250 videos.  These lessons are fun to do and a user can customize how they want to learn a give topic.

Kubbu

Kubbu is a excellent site for teachers for creating a wide variety of online activities.  A free teacher account lets them manage up to 30 students and 15 activities at a time.  These activities can include: games, quizzes, crosswords, and more.  Another nice feature track students and view their results.

FXmypics

FXmypics is a nice little site for editing photos that I found out about from Larry Ferlazzo's blog.  All a user has to do is register for a free account, upload their photos, and then edit their photos w/ a bunch of different effects.

QR Wild

QR Wild is a very cool site/network for QR Codes that I found out about from Edshelf.  On this site a user can create, play, or find rules on how to build or play a QR code game.  A very popular QR Code game is the scavenger hunt which is used all the time in education.  These games can be played out in the real world and in a school setting and is a fun and innovative way to incorporate technology into the classroom.

myCreate

myCreate is an excellent iPad app for stop motion animation.  A user uses the iPad camera to take pics turns them into a stop motion animation and can even record audio.  Users of Quicktime Pro will feel right at home w/ this easy to use app.

Quizpoo

Quizpoo is a fun little new (beta) site for creating a quiz.  These quizzes can only have two choices for answers and when completed a link is giving for sharing the score.  While it's nothing fancy it is fun to create and take one.

I'd like to thank Larry Ferlazzo's award nominated blog for the tip.

Zeen

Zeen is a new (beta) site for creating a digital story.  It's a rather interesting site that is very easy to use.  A user just creates a board, adds text/quotes, drag-n-drops photos/videos, and then shares their story.  My only issue is the site claims to allow stories to be embedded which is ideal for education but I couldn't figure it out.
