YuJa is a new site that is ideal for upper education (HS/College) for educators to "house" their classroom content in a safe environment. Basically, YuJa is a LMS (learning management system) where teachers can host real-time discussions, poll students, send out text messages, and best of all send out video broadcasts on any topic. This is ideal for the flipped classroom model where learning takes place outside the classroom.

Tackk
Tackk is a excellent site that reminds me a lot of Glogster or Smore for creating stunning presentations. This is a very user-friendly site that allows users to create a static page for free by simply just typing and adding types of content (video, audio, images, links, etc.) I recommend registering as a user otherwise a "Tackk" will delete after 7 days. Best of all, a finished project can be shared via a unique URL or embedded into a site/blog.
Here are some educational examples of Tackk in use... http://tackk.com/board/Educationhttp://tackk.com/board/Education

This interactive narrated app covers 5 ocean concepts such as: coral reef, marine mammals, fish, boat, and submarine. MP Ocean is a very user-friendly app that has kids dragging and dropping pieces of a puzzle to create an animated object (i.e. fish, boat, etc), control a submarine through an ocean, feeding fish, and other engaging activities.

PlayCornerTV
PlayCornerTV is a wonderful mobile (iOS/Android) app that filters YouTube videos so only educational videos show up. This is a great way to eliminate all inappropriate content that can be found on YouTube as well as give a visual interface for kids who are to young or have trouble reading. Different videos that come up are: animals, characters, and educational concepts such as, Math, Shapes, Alphabet, etc. Also, there are Parental Controls that allows them to block or control what videos a student/child can see.I highly recommend checking out PlayCornerTV by clicking here!!!

Learningpod
Learningpod is a new site that I just learned about from Richard Byrne's excellent blog. This is a great site for finding educational questions on any number of subjects. Students can use this to prepare for a test and even search by test type (ACT, SAT, etc). Best of all, the questions all come w/ explanation to the multiple choice answers.
